Hi there, I’m Natalie!

I’m Natalie Butler — a wife, mom, and entrepreneur. 

As a Behavioral Weight Loss Strategist, I work with women entrepreneurs who’ve lost weight and gained it all back finally keep the weight off with my Everyday Slim Method.

Early Struggles with Weight and Body Image

When it comes to weight loss, Natalie is had her fair share of struggles!

Starting at just 10 years old, Natalie began to experience weight and body confidence issues.

She was always the “thicker” one amongst her cousins and one day, a family friend made the comment that pointed it out. 

As just a kid, she began to wonder “what was wrong with her” and why wasn’t she thinner like her cousins who were all the same age.

She couldn’t figure it out and the scale continued to climb. 

She went on to gain 40lbs between freshman and senior year of high school. 

But her weight issues didn’t stop there.

History with Yo-Yo Dieting

After Natalie gained 40lbs in high school, she gained an additional 30lbs in her freshman year of college. 

Desperate to lose weight, she followed the keto diet and lost 66lbs.

She thought all her weight issues were over but almost as fast as she’d lost the weight, she regained it. 

She spent the next 10 years, trying multiple diets, pills, teas and supplements to lose weight.

She spent hours on the treadmill and elliptical each day. 

Though she could lose 10-25lbs depending on the diet, the weight always came back. 

The Turning Point

Now over 80lbs heavier than when she first started her weight loss journey, her self-esteem had reached an all-time low. 

She felt like a failure and began to hide.

She stopped spending time with family and friends isolated herself. 

She and her husband took a trip to Cabo and what should’ve been fun, turned into a nightmare.

She was constantly reminded of how self-conscious she felt.

She hated how she felt and she vowed she’d never feel that way again. 

She decided that she would learn how to lose weight so she could keep it off. 

She lost 88lbs naturally. 

After seeing so much misinformation as it relations to nutrition, healthy eating and weight loss, Natalie launched Glow Up Nutrition in 2021 to help other busy professionals hop off the yo-yo dieting rollercoaster.

What is the Everyday Slim Method?

The Everyday Slim Method is a simple 3-step behavioral nutrition framework that helps women finally break the cycle of weight regain by shifting their behaviors, habits and mindset towards food. 

It is an anti-diet approach to weight loss that not just focuses on the initial phase of weight loss but also figures on sustainable eating habits that hold up even in weight maintenance.

Enter Motherhood

After losing 88lbs and maintaining it, Natalie and her husband, Aaron, got pregnant with their only child, Aiden. 

She gave birth in July 2023.

During pregnancy, Natalie gained 57lbs.

And still, she’s been able to maintain her pre-pregnancy weight of 88lbs lighter — simply by following her Everyday Slim Method.
